The Short Version
When you buy a plugin from us, you get to use it on up to 2 computers for any projects you want. Don't share your license key, don't pirate it, don't try to reverse-engineer it. Not sure if it's right for you? Try it free for 14 days first.
That's basically it. The rest of this page is the detailed version for people who need it.
Early Access / Launch Pricing
IcePick is in active development. You're getting launch pricing because you're an early adopter. The plugin is fully functional, but we're still collecting feedback and adding features based on real-world use. All improvements are included free.
What You Can Do With Your License

- ✓ Use for personal or commercial projects—make music, make money, no restrictions
- ✓ Use on unlimited projects and recordings
- ✓ Keep and use all updates forever (within the same major version)
How Licensing Works
How Your License Knows Your Computers
When you enter your license key, the plugin automatically registers your computer. No serial numbers to copy, no manual activation—it just works. You can use the plugin on up to 2 machines at a time.
Need to swap one out? Email us your license key and we'll free up a slot.
The Weekly Check-In
The plugin checks in with our servers every 7 days to verify your license. This happens automatically in the background—you won't notice it.
This helps prevent license sharing while keeping things simple for legitimate users.
Working Offline
No internet for a while? No problem. The plugin works offline for up to 7 days after the last successful validation. Perfect for studio sessions or travel. Just connect to the internet occasionally and you're good.
What You Can't Do
- ✗ Don't share your license key. One purchase = one person. If your friend wants it, send them the link.
- ✗ Don't pirate it. Sharing cracked versions, license generators, or "free download" links is not cool.
- ✗ Don't reverse-engineer it. No decompiling, disassembling, or trying to steal the code.
- ✗ Don't remove copyright notices. The branding stays.
If you violate these, we'll deactivate your license. Don't make this weird.
Payment & Delivery
How Payment Works
Arctic Labs Audio develops, supports, and updates IcePick. Payments and the sale of the license are handled by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. Your receipt, invoice, and card statement will reference Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy calculates and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax for your country.
Prices are shown in USD (with local equivalents and applicable taxes calculated at checkout). Your card details never touch our servers, and your purchase price is locked in once you buy.
By purchasing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. For purchase-related questions (receipts, refunds, taxes), Lemon Squeezy support can help; for product or license support, contact us at support@arcticlabsaudio.com.
Email Delivery
After payment, your license key and download link are emailed to you. Most emails arrive within 1–2 minutes. If yours doesn't show up, check your spam folder first, then reach out — we'll resend it right over.
14-Day Free Trial
Every product includes a 14-day free trial with full functionality. Try it in your real workflow before you buy. No credit card required.
Since you can try everything free first, refunds after purchase are handled on a case-by-case basis for genuine issues.

Updates & Support
Free Updates
Your license includes free updates within the current major version (v1.x — bug fixes, improvements, and new features within the same generation). Future major versions (v2.0+) are released as separate paid products. Your license to v1.x remains valid forever.
Email Support
We answer support emails personally. We usually respond within 24-48 hours, but we don't guarantee specific response times. Support is in English only.
Check System Requirements First
Make sure your system meets the requirements before you buy. They're listed on the product page. We can't refund you just because your setup doesn't meet the specs.
That said, if there's a bug or compatibility issue on our end, we'll fix it or refund you.
Who Owns What
We own the plugin. The software, code, graphics, and branding belong to Arctic Labs Audio. You're buying a license to use it, not the plugin itself.
You own your music. Anything you create with the plugin is 100% yours. Sell it, stream it, license it—do whatever you want.
The Legal Disclaimers
No Warranties
We've tested IcePick in real sessions in Ableton, Logic, and Pro Tools. We can't promise every DAW behaves the same — audio software is complicated, and every setup is different.
The legal version (because lawyers): Arctic Labs Audio provides this software "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
If something goes wrong—your session crashes, you lose data, whatever—we're not responsible for indirect damages. The most you can recover is what you paid for the plugin.
Specifically, we're not liable for:
- • Lost profits or revenue
- • Lost or corrupted data
- • Project delays or missed deadlines
- • Damage to other software or hardware
- • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plugin. This is standard legal protection—we're not trying to screw anyone over.
License Revocation
If You Violate These Terms
If you share your license key, crack the plugin, or do other sketchy stuff, we'll deactivate your license. No refund. Don't make us do this—we'd rather spend time building plugins than dealing with piracy.
If we revoke your license, we'll email you to explain why. You can respond within 14 days to contest the decision (e.g., if you believe it was a mistake or you can fix the issue). We'll review and respond before the revocation becomes permanent.
On Refund
If you receive a refund, your license is automatically revoked. The plugin will stop working within 7 days (the next time it validates online).
If We Discontinue the Product
We're planning to keep building on IcePick. But if we ever have to wind it down, here's what happens:
- • Release a final offline-validation version that keeps working without our servers, OR
- • Open-source the license validation system so customers can self-host, OR
- • Refund customers who purchased in the previous 12 months.
We'll give at least 60 days' notice before any shutdown, sent to the email on file.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute that can't be resolved by talking it out goes to the Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) on a non-exclusive basis.
If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA, you keep your mandatory rights under your local consumer protection law, including the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence (per the Brussels I Regulation).
Changes to These Terms
We might update these terms occasionally. If we do, we'll note the date at the top. Major changes will be communicated via email. By keeping the plugin installed and using it, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
