Try Before You Buy
Every product comes with a 14-day free trial. Full functionality, no credit card required. Use it in real sessions, on real projects. If it works for you, buy it. If not, it just stops working after 14 days.
After Purchase
The Basic Policy
Since you can try everything for free before buying, we don't offer refunds for change of mind. You had 14 days to test the plugin in your actual workflow before committing.
Defective or Non-Conforming Software
If IcePick doesn't work as described and we can't fix it, you're entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement, or refund. This applies to everyone, and EU consumers additionally have statutory rights under the Digital Content Directive 2019/770 for a 2-year conformity guarantee.
Billing errors are also always corrected in full. We're not here to take money for broken software.
How to Request
Email support@arcticlabsaudio.com with your order number or the email you used to buy. Explain what's going on and we'll respond within 24 hours.
Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record) and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
What Happens After a Refund
Refunds trigger automatic license revocation. This happens immediately when the refund is processed:
- • Your license is immediately revoked across all machines
- • The plugin stops working on next validation (within 7 days)
- • You lose access to downloads and updates
- • All machine activations are cleared
This is why we encourage trying the free trial first—so you know it works for you before buying.
EU Right of Withdrawal — Important
EU consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)) gives you 14 days to withdraw from most online purchases. For digital products that begin downloading immediately, this right can be waived if you give explicit consent at the time of purchase — otherwise someone could download, refund, and keep the software.
By clicking the purchase button and downloading the plugin, you (a) explicitly request immediate performance of the contract and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download begins. The 14-day free trial exists so you can fully evaluate the plugin before this waiver applies.
This requirement is built into our checkout (handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record) — you'll see the consent acknowledgment before paying.
Having Technical Issues?
Before requesting a refund, reach out. Most issues are fixable — installation hiccups, license activation, DAW-specific quirks. If you found a DAW where IcePick won't behave, we want to know. We respond within 24 hours and will actually help you troubleshoot.
Contact Support →Heads-Up: License Check Needs Internet
The plugin validates your license online and works offline for up to 7 days after the last successful check. If you regularly work in environments with no internet (long flights, remote studios, off-grid retreats), make sure you can connect at least every 7 days — otherwise the plugin pauses until it can validate again.
The 14-day free trial uses the same validation, so you can confirm this works for your workflow before you buy. Refund requests after purchase based on "I had no internet" generally aren't granted, because the trial would have surfaced this.
