Two brothers from Ljan

Who We Are
My brother and I grew up in Ljan — a quiet residential neighborhood in the south of Oslo, the kind of place where nothing much happens and you have plenty of time to work on things that matter. We still work from here.
Christmas 2025: we were both home for the holiday, and my brother had a sibilance problem on a vocal he'd been fighting for three hours. Couldn't crack it. We started talking through the detection side of it — how an ML model might actually identify individual sibilant events the way you would by hand — and at some point the holiday became a development sprint.
We had an initial prototype within weeks. IcePick v1 took about five months after that.
That's the whole story. Two people, one specific problem, no plan to turn it into a company. We built the thing until it worked, and we're shipping it now to see if anyone else needs it.
Say Hi
We're genuinely interested in how IcePick holds up across different rooms, different voices, different microphones. If it doesn't behave right on something you're working on, tell us. We read everything.
